Molly Hammar

Ella Molly Natalia Pettersson Hammar (born 16 October 1995), known as Molly Hammar or Molly Pettersson Hammar (MPH), is a Swedish singer and songwriter.

She became known for participating in the Swedish talent show Idol 2011, where she reached 4th place.

She competed in Melodifestivalen 2015 with the song “I’ll Be Fine”, but was eliminated in its semifinal. She returned to Melodifestivalen in 2016 with “Hunger” and qualified to Andra Chansen (second chance) round, but lost her duel and didn’t make it to the final.

In 2016, she co-wrote the Maltese entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, “Walk on Water” by Ira Losco. She also was Ira Losco’s live backing vocalist at Eurovision.

She made an appearance again at Melodifestivalen in 2018, not as a performer, but as a backing vocalist for Jessica Andersson in the final.

In June 2018, Molly released “Blossom”, which served as the first single off her debut EP SEX.
