Shelley Marshaun Massenburg-Smith (b. August 3, 1988), better known by his stage name Shelley (formerly known as DRAM), is a Virginia-based rapper, singer, and producer. He was first placed in the spotlight in 2015 when Beyoncé shared a video of her own rendition of his hit song, “Cha Cha”, a single on his “#1 Epic Summer” mixtape.

“Cha Cha” was originally released in 2014 and first picked up by Cleveland R&B radio station Z 107.9 FM in their “weekend warmer” campaign.

Shelley was born Shelley Massenburg-Smith in 1988 in Germany.

His former stage-name, DRAM, is an acronym that stands for Does Real Ass Music.
