John Roberts

Justice John Roberts, Jr. was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2005. He attended Harvard College and Harvard Law School.

Justice Roberts has demonstrated his opinion on a variety of subjects, including:

  • deference to Federalist legislation in state matters
  • defending judicial use of stare decisis, such as in Brown v. Board
  • against Roe v. Wade’s judgment on abortion
