I just got my hands on this official
Manhattan Clique Radio Edit. The one which is posted all around the web previously is a fan made one...

It's been awhile since I've ranted eh. Missed me?? =P Going to the point, "
Alive" is
Goldfrapp's 2nd single from their fifth studio album,
Head First. To be released on 7th June 2010, it's an excellent follow-up to "
Rocket". Love the single cover btw, it should've been the album cover instead!!!
With the
Dave Audé mix being the most commercial out of the remixes, it does retain the sythy-hook from the chorus. I kinda like the
Arno Cost Mix too. But I don't think they are comparable to the original mix, which is very Abba-esque and uber catchy!!! More of it on my in-depth review of the album (coming soon)!!!
For now, enjoy the remixes. =)

I said Keri's "
I Like" remix is rather unexpected right, I think the remixes for this song is more unexpected since
Utada went off the radar after releasing her English studio album early this year. It's a nice early christmas present for me!!! =) Backed by reputable remixers such as
Digital Dog,
Mike Rizzo and
Razor N Guido (
DJ Escape is rumored to be in the list too), it's definite that the remixes are gonna be HAWT!!! This song is indeed a DIRRTY Desire to me!! =P
Here we have first is the
Razor N Guido Club mix. It's more to dark house, perfect for the clubs. Everything from the tempo to the structure of the remix is just right. The contents of the song is very suggestive though.
NSFW (Not Strictly For the Weak). Plus
Razor N Guido added an orgasm verse by
Utada, *shrills*. Haha, quite a surprise though. Overall, a great remix. I guess the remixes of the song serves as a promo for her upcoming US and UK tour early next year. Selected shows!!! Wish I could attend. =(
I'll upload the rest of the remixes when their out. I've previewed a clip of the
Digital Dog mix and it's worthy to have too. Enjoy!!! =) *Love the cover art too btw*
*Update* - The rest of the mixes are out!!! Good Stuff!!! One of the underrated best mixes this year. =)

Ahh, this remix is quite unexpected. Rather low-keyed too I must say. The
Mahattan Clique treatment slows the song a little from it's fast, original single counterpart, but it's a great song to start a set (which I will include in my upcoming set). This euro-pop song is pretty much underrated, as you wouldn't expect Keri to release this too. And I LIKEEE this song!!! Deserves a spot in the higher regions on the chart.
Anyways, I'm betting my money on her to win 'Best New Artist' at the 2010 Grammys. She deserves it, from working behind the scenes as a songwriter to a recording artist now. Her biggest threat for this award is
MGMT (very addictive too) and
The Ting Tings (annoyingly catchy).

Rumored to be the 5th (6th technically, hardcore fans should know why) single from "
The Fame", the plans to release this song is scrapped in favour of "The Fame Monster". Well, this song (as I've mentioned in my previous
rant) is suited for the summer.
"
Boys, Boys, Boys" was inspired by the similarly titled
Motley Crue song "
Girls, Girls, Girls". Deserves to be at least a promo single. Here we have the Manhattan Clique Remix Edit of "Boys, Boys, Boys". A decent remix, a must for die-hard Gaga fans though. =)

Here's a sneak listen of some tracks that would be on their 2nd studio album, "
Wordshaker", which would be release on 12th Oct 2009. I must say this megamix sounds great. Considered as a growth and an improvement over the "already good" first album material that they recorded.
My fave tracks are the last 2 songs of the megamix, "
One Shot" and "
Ego". Both are not cover versions, don't worry. First single "
Forever is Over" is still growing on me, in a good way though. I'll definitely review the album when it's out. Enjoy the megamix!!! =)
*PS* The official album cover art is weird, though I like the colour scheme treatment again. They look like different coloured parrots being pearched on a branch. The long train made me have that analogy. LOL =X

The fourth single taken from La Roux's debut album, "
I'm Not Your Toy" is set to release on 28 Sept in the UK. The single is accompanied by 2 remixes of the song, the
Jack Beats Remix and
Data Remix.
The Data remix feels like an alternate mix instead of a proper dance remix. Quite good, love the dramatic orchestra intro. As for the Jack Beats remix, has electro beats but feels like a dub to me. I'm hoping there'll be unofficial mixes too. These 2 remixes doesn't really live up to the brillance of the original track. Enjoy!!! =)

Remember "
Torn"??? It's still her biggest hit to date. But "
Wrong Impression" and "
Shiver" are recognisable too. Natalie has gone with a darker sound on the lead single of her upcoming 4th studio album, "
Come to Life", releasing first on Oct 2nd in certain parts of Europe.
"
Want" describes Natalie's point of view of moving on and hopes that her ex can do the same. She also co-wrote this song with
Chris Martin from
Coldplay. I don't really like the cover art though.
This already excellent track gets good remixes too. Both the
Blunt Laser and
Buzz Junkies mix are club-ready. The
Cassette Club Remix has a disco vibe and the
Shapeshifters remix is dark house. Enjoy!!!

Yes, the record company is milking
Lady Gaga too (after
Rihanna and
Beyonce). Her newest EP "
Hitmixes", it features some remixes of her singles. Already released in Canada, it will be released worldwide on September 1st. Oh, and they recycled the cover art from "LoveGame", on budget eh.
Didn't really like the tracklisting, the selection of remixes kinda sucked. But there's a new remix though, "
The Fame",
Glam As You Remix Radio Edit. A fairly decent mix, the original album version is rather hyper though. Would this song be a single, maybe. Or do any of you prefer "Boys, Boys. Boys"???
I hope "
The Fame: Monster" would be as good as the album in terms of the new tracks. Once an underground dance sensation (anyone remembers her first live TV performance on
Miss Universe last year??), she have become a mainstream crazed artist. While I'm irritated with the Gaga-inspired fans, I'll still support her music no matter what. =)

"
Manos Al Aire" (which stands for "Hands in the Air" in english) is the lead single from Nelly Furtado's upcoming Spanish album "
Mi Plan". The song is released on the 29th of June for Radio Airplay and on the 30th for Digital Download....
